Meet Yemi Alade's Igbo Mother

Yemi Alade has always made use of her heritage in her music and now she shows us where she got it from.

Yemi’s father is Yoruba and her mother is Igbo. If you listen to her music you will notice that she uses both languages fluently.

She has always said she is proud to be part of both cultures.

Well in her Instagram page, she made apost hours ago where she showed off her Igbo mother, describing her as “Sweet mother”

Yemi Alade burst into the music scene this year when her hit single, Johnny took over Africa and it even encourage her to make a french version for francophone countries.
